Comprehensive Care for Head and Neck Cancer
The head and neck region is one of the most critical areas of the human body, playing essential roles in eating, breathing, speaking, and facial expression. Head and neck cancer—including those of the tongue, throat, jaw, nose, and ears—can significantly impair these vital functions.
Consequently, the treatment of such cancers requires comprehensive expertise across multiple medical disciplines, aiming not only for a curative outcome but also for the preservation of essential functions and quality of life. To address these needs, the center was established in April 2012, with a dedicated coordinator stationed in the outpatient department of Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery.
