On October 1, The Autumn 2024 Okayama University Matriculation Ceremony was held at the 50th Anniversary Hall. 27 undergraduate students newly enrolled in the Discovery Program for Global Learners and 129 graduate students began their university life.

During the ceremony, President NASU Yasutomo delivered his address in English, stating, “Today you are standing at a new gateway in your academic and life career. Step ahead and challenge yourself to create a new path. We are here with you to support you!”

On behalf of the new students, Mr. ZHENG Bowen from the Discovery Program for Global Learners pledged, “As incoming students of the 2024 academic year, we view this educational journey as both a profound privilege and an opportunity to uncover new ground. We commit to collaborating our efforts in pursuing our academic goals with passion, mutual aid, and respect for the future.”
