On May 15, Okayama University, through the "Global Network Project to Promote Study in Japan" entrusted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), and the Discovery Program for Global Learners (GDP), jointly organized an online information session. Approximately 90 participants, mainly high school students from the ASEAN region interested in studying abroad, attended the session.
The information session covered introductions to Okayama University and the GDP program, international admissions, scholarships, and presentations of experiences from current students. Subsequently, a question-and-answer session was held, followed by an overview of the overall structure of studying in Japan.
The session concluded on a high note with active participation, as many attendees posed proactive questions about Okayama University, international admissions, scholarships, student life as GDP students, and more.
